#30dayswild – Volunteering in Bristol

Volunteering in nature is a great way to learn about the outdoors, new skills and to meet other enthusiastic people. It’s free of charge and keeps you fit. I plan to take part in various volunteer events during the #30dayswild month of June. Why not give it a try yourself? I live in Bristol so I have listed events in my area. If you are based elsewhere there is usually information online if you google your local park or Wildlife Trust. Most local parks have a friends group and quite a few community centres have gardening groups. Feel free to add any events I have missed out in the comments section.

  1. Brandon Hill Gardening

    Every Tuesday morning 10am-12noon.

Join the Friends of Brandon Hill gardeners for some light gardening to help the hill be beautiful. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy some tranquility in the middle of the city.
